Handmade 'Snowdrop' botanical bas relief round hanging. A beautifully unique gift, which is literally one of a kind. The perfect way to bring the outdoors in. An ideal gift for garden lovers, friends and family for any occasions.
The piece is handmade from start to finish and uses beautiful Snowdrops, home grown in my garden. Once picked the snowdrops are carefully arranged onto a piece of flat, wet clay. These are then rolled out into the clay. Once removed they leave their beautiful imprints and impressions behind in the clay.
A mould is then used to section off the clay before plaster is poured in. The plaster picks up all of the beautiful impressions of the flowers.
Once dried the piece is sanded and smoothed as required and is hand painted in this gorgeous teal colour. Ribbon is then added to create a small hanging piece of home decor.
The hanging measures approximately 7.5cm in diameter.
Clean by lightly dusting with a soft dry cloth. Keep away from moisture.
